My solution and action to reduce the affects of the quickly depleting ohia lehua population is to outplant and transfer baby ohias and other native plants to forests that needs restoration.  This action is important becasue what you do in the mountains affects what happens in the water.  Taking care of the whole ahupua'a helps the Native species to thrive and grow.
